 How can I join and how much does it cost ?
It costs £17 per year to join the club, £28 for family membership or £9 for students, unemployed and OAPs, and for that you will get newsletters and affiliation to the British Mountaineering Council (BMC) which gives you third party insurance when climbing (and a free copy of their quarterly Summit magazine).
You can join at the pub on a Wednesday, or by sending a cheque for the appropriate amount, payable to the 'Reading Mountaineering Club' to the treasurer, Kevin Jones , together with a filled in application form which you can download from here.
n.b. prospective members are very welcome to come along to a monthly or social meet before deciding if they wish to join.
