Membership of the club costs £20 per year for an individual (reduced to £12 for students, unemployed and OAPs). Membership for a couple (any two people living at the same address) is £34 per year. For this you will get newsletters and affiliation to the British Mountaineering Council (BMC) which gives you third party insurance when climbing (and one copy of 'Summit' per year - the Feb/Mar issue which includes details of the BMC AGM).

You can join at the pub on a Wednesday, or by sending a cheque for the appropriate amount, payable to the 'Reading Mountaineering Club' to the treasurer, Rob Smart , together with a filled in application form which you can download from here.

n.b. prospective members are very welcome to come along to a monthly or social meet before deciding if they wish to join.
